Hurricane Katrina brought devastation on an unprecedented scale to the gulf coast of the United States.
While watching the people trapped on the roofs of their homes with no food, no water, no escape and no hope on television, we realized that we had tools that could be used to bring relief. With helicopters and pilots available to us, we realized we could reach the unreachable places and do our part to bring relief. We didn’t know it at the time, but that was the birth of Samaritan Air.
Since then Samaritan Air has developed into an agile and innovative outreach, multiplying the one resource that is in limited supply during every disaster: time. We quickly fly doctors and aid workers to an unreachable village or a top of a mountain, reducing travel time from 8 hours to 45 minutes. We can fly water to a remote island cut off from their normal source of supplies and aid by collapsed and devastated roads.
We do it all to bring hope and relief to hurting people in the name of Jesus.

Testimonials
“I became acquainted with Samaritan Air and the Parker family while serving in the mission field in Haiti. Their friendship and approach to serving others has brought me closer to God, increased my love for people, and my desire to serve His eternal kingdom. To ALL who support Samaritan Air, I want to say thank you for the tremendous blessing you have been for Haiti. You brought your employees here to Haiti and built not only a bunk house, but filled it with bunk beds as well. And your water system is providing clean water to our village. We couldn’t have done any of that without Samaritan Air’s help. Thank you for the partnership that allows me to continue the good work impacting so many lives and making a difference here on the ground in Haiti.
Thank you for your support!”
“Thanks to Samaritan Air, portable water equiptment made it to the island of Vieques for the first time since hurricane Maria.”
